French CG artist Gilles-Alexandre Deschaud has dedicated two years to creating a stop-motion animation film using 3D printing. The characters and props were first designed using 3D software and then turned into 3D prints. The staging was then recreated through stop-motion animation (at 15 frames per second) to produce the film’s final result. Check out the making of on the film’s website.
