Two years after its initial announcement and a number of video teasers later, Montpellier-based Isotropix has officially released its software that blends compositing, layout, animation and rendering functionality into a single application. Clarisse sports an interactive 3D rendering engine linked to a 32-bit compositing application in which you can paint, animate, shade, light and filter at the same time, while everything is managed by a memory optimizer.
Clarisse runs on Windows, Mac OS X or Linux operating systems (the Mac OS X version is due to appear in 2013). A free, personal learning edition is available for download. Read the press release and find out more on Isotropix’s website.
