(Errata) The short will be funded by the Blender Cloud but the director and his team will work remotely (not at the Blender Institute).
The talented Spanish artist and founder of Pepe-School-Land will be directing the next short produced at Blender Animation Studio, which is being made with the aim “to improve the Grease Pencil tools from the Blender 2.8 branch” and “to show everyone how to make compelling 2D animation film in a 3D environment”. Martínez Lara is the author of quality shorts such as Alike (co-directed with Rafa Cano Méndez) and Changes. More on the Blender Cloud website.
