Lead FX TD Anatolii Iudanov, author of the Houdini VEX raytracer and recent “How to animate cube in Houdini” tutorial, has come up with another creative project: a framework that unlocks Houdini’s procedural capabilities for node-based (literally) video game creation. According to the author, the architecture was heavily inspired by Unity. The video shows actual recorded gameplay (played with keyboard) in realtime, unless otherwise stated.
