FXGuide has posted an article discussing some of the biggest VFX shots in the latest from the Die Hard franchise, A Good Day to Die Hard. In the article, VFX vendors Pixomondo, and Scanline, discuss their work and use of 3DS Max on the film. The full article can be found on the FXGuide website.
Oi!
Screenscene vfx too – there’s a breakdown of some stuff that 3 people did – it’s a video with a white wireframe of a car flipping. Done by me, Martin Naydenski doing thinking particles and fume for the fx bits and then a single comper, Andreass Cronstrom in nuke.
Some other interesting vfx bits due out soon on Ruairi robinson’s first feature, all max, tp, fume and vray too!
Shout out to Benjamin Lui who was a lead at Pixomondo on this show, great work! Lots of FumeFX I believe and much hard work!
