Madrid-based Next Limit has released RealFlow for Maya, a native integration of the popular fluid simulation software.
RealFlow for Maya includes the full feature set of Dyverso particles and a selection of Daemons. Like the Cinema 4D implementation, Hybrido, Caronte, RealWave, and a few meshing modes are exclusive to the standalone version.
The Maya release adds nParticles compatibility, MEL and Python simulation, cache and RF Node creation.
Licenses cost €650. Find out more about the features including several demo videos on the Next Limit website.
Goooood
Way too late for them to integrate this into 3d apps. Maya already has biFrost.
Realflow has lost their industry standard a long time ago.
I agree. Why are you doing this. When you have bifrost. Work on Realflow!! I paid for my subscription. And we are getting into the middle of the year. And nothing yet!
NextLimit does no longer sell RealFlow maintenance, they sell Premium Support. As far as I know, you will receive minor updates for free but major upgrades are paid.
Well Well! That’s a curve-ball! But I’ll throw a speed ball back. I have a case detail number. I will not mentioned the name of the sale person that help me at Next Limit. It stats that I will get the major update to RealFlow Floating with 5 simulation License. That’s what I paid for. Yo no soy jilipollas tio! I have all the paper work details to prove it.
Hey Zorm, I do not speak Spanish…but I can guess what you mean. It kinda sounds like you think that I work for NextLimit – no. If you have any agreement with them regarding an upgrade to the next major version, it is good for you. I was just talking generally.
