Smooth Boolean tool in development

Poland-based technical artist Kamil Małagowski – known for creating DeltaMush to Skin, FoldFX and Weight Pro 2 – has released a preview for a new boolean tool in development for 3DS Max. The video shows smooth intersections between operators as well as a bridge mode that can join edges with different numbers of vertices. Though the demo appears to have been recorded using a Maxscripted tool, according to the description, creating a C++ implementation is the next step. Watch it on YouTube.
I love these types of tools, well done.
I could love in equal amounts an MCG able to do it in 3/4 nodes and procedurally.
That’s ingenious.
This would be an instant buy for me – but only if its available for Max 2014 (please let it be so!)
