Daniel Shiffman has released his second book on graphics programming. The Nature of Code provides an accessible introduction to the principles of creating emergent and evolutionary algorithms. The examples are written using Processing, an artist-friendly framework built on Java, but the content should appeal to anyone with an interest in coding complex simulations of nature. The entire book is free online, or in paperback and a pay-what-you-want pdf. More at The Nature of Code.
Extremely useful book, It’s definitely worth paying for.
