John Martini has released Zippy Painter, an inexpensive script that allows you to paint instanced geometry onto one or more surfaces or into 3d space, and then apply a physics simulation. Features include the ability to randomise rotation, translation and scale; an option to align rotation to the surface normals or align to the surface and rotate to follow the stroke angle; and several keyboard shortcuts to improve workflow. Find out more on John Martini’s website.
Great tool!
Glad I didn’t buy something like this since this is free. Fun to play with but not that useful.
No it isnt free… just cheap.
But i saw some other tool that offered similiar functions (painting and simulating afterwards), but i cannot remember the name of the tool, can someone help?
You mean PhysX Painter?
