Filmmaker U online training launches

Filmmaker U is an online training site offering $99 courses in film making (full disclosure: it actually launched a while ago, but we missed the announcement). At the time of publication they offer 3 courses: “Master Film Editing with Brian Kates, ACE” who has worked on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Shortbus, and Lee Daniels’ The Butler, and has won two Emmys; “Sound design with oscar winner Eugene Gearty” who has worked with Spike Lee, Martin Scorcese, Ang Lee, and The Coen Brothers and other; and “Color grading secrets from the Mad Max colorist”.  A fourth course, “Master doc editing with sam pollard”, is on its way.
