Yeti 2.0 is out

Peregrine Labs announced a significant update to its fur, hair and feather creation and animation plugin for Maya. New features include: full support for Maya’s Viewport 2.0, optimized use of multi-core processors to improve feedback while working on larger grooms, tighter integration with Maya’s UI via the new Yeti Graph Panel, refactored dynamics solver, updated brush dynamics, new sculpting tools, etc.

Also of note, the company has announced a price reduction of the software and restructured licensing to allow more affordable batch rendering and caching options for distributed dynamics simulation and baking without using a full interactive license. Find out more on Peregrine Labs’ website.
