Blocks – Google’s new VR modelling tool

Google has released Blocks, a free simplified virtual reality modelling application aimed at non-technical users. Blocks offers six tools to help artists create low poly objects: a shape tool for creating primitives; a freeform tool for painting 3d strokes; a paint brush to add colour to whole objects or individual faces; a grab tool to select, transform and group objects; a modify tool to extrude or subdivide faces and manipulate geometry by translating its vertices faces or edges; and finally an erase tool.
