African studio Majiqmud Animation has released a one minute preview of its upcoming project released under the working title Dalili. According to the studio, the film "is an animated griot (African) short story that follows the lives of two young Africans, as they navigate through life under the beautiful African sky. Dalili is being made using Blender and exemplifies the unique usage of the open-source animation tool in Africa". Samuel Enslin has posted a trailer for his personal project The Journey of the Water Bear, a CG animated short film that follows the adventures of a microscopic tardigrade.  The trailer is released as a teaser with the intention of launching a crowdfunding campaign for full production. iToo Software has released an in-depth interview with Christian Haas about Manou the Swift. The film is a feature-length animated film for families conceived and created entirely in-house using 3DS Max using LUXX's custom pipeline tools and rendered with V-Ray.
