Godot 2.0 open source game engine is out

New features in v2.0 of the open source game engine include:
- Improved scene instancing
- New text-based scene format
- Much improved gamepad support
- New Editor layout and theme
- Multiple scene editing support
- New tool layout
- Improved debugger
- Live scene editing
Been using it since it’s first release, it’s a very good engine.
Takes some time to get used to the workflow – but it’s well worth it.
It works very well on both windows and Linux.
Many people complain about ‘GDscript’, but honestly – if you are into gamedev and are serious then it’s no problem what so ever, super easy to learn, feels much like maxscript actually.
You can also use c++ with it if needed.
