Katana 3.2 released
Foundry has released Katana 3.2, the latest version of its lighting and look dev application. This release revamps the material node graph system inside the Network Material Create Node for an improves user experience. 3Delight NSI is updated with random walk methods for SSS materials, the ability to render from multiple cameras, the ability to use displacement maps with the principled shader and hair and fur improvements. Speed improvements of up to 400% are made possible by making 3Delight multithreaded by default. Katana has also been upgraded to USD 19.05, introducing the ability to use the render delegate system.
