Joker Martini has released Lazy Manager, a new tool for 3ds Max that allows users to copy and paste objects, materials, and modifiers across multiple instances of 3ds Max and includes support for sharing these assets across an entire studio of artists using a shared network location. Lazy Manager costs $10 and supports 3ds Max 2012 an upwards. Find out more on Joker Martini’s website.
Looks very handy, nice idea.
Does it works even between diferent versions od Max?
All works relative to the version of max you are using the tool with. I could easily add options for which version of max you want it to save as.
That would be glorious.
please go download the latest version from your account this feature as well as a few others have been added 🙂
Bought this. Great tool. Make it easier to create button or shortcut. Add an install note maybe. I found this and was able to figure it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2KgYYJ6yiI
Good idea Gavean, I’ll update the installer to include a macroscript so you can have a shortcut.

One of the things that grinds my gears is when tools have ‘lazy’ in their name.
So many ‘lazy this’, ‘lazy that’ tools\modifiers.
Call then ‘smart’, or ‘quick’ instead, or better – drop that kind of label on your tools.
People are not lazy by using a tool that improves the workflow.
dropped you a email after i bought the script – never heard from you!
Hey Pete,
What do you need help with. I didn’t see any email?
