Marvelous Designer 12.1 released with USD support
CLO Virtual Fashion has announced the release of Marvelous Designer 12.1. The update focuses on streamlining workflows and providing a more dynamic user experience.
One of the key features of this release is USD file compatibility. This graphics standard file format allows users to improve productivity through seamless collaborations across various 3D software platforms.
The new version also includes an beta version of an Omniverse Connector. This feature aims to accelerate collaboration workflows by facilitating data exchange with the Omniverse platform using the new USD format support.
User interface enhancements have also been made. Users can now import a background image onto the 2D window by dragging and dropping an image from the explorer window. Another convenient feature is the Switch Viewport Layout by Hotkey, which allows users to toggle between the current window layout and a full screen of the selected window using the shortcut ‘Alt+W’.
Lastly, the ‘Show Statistics’ option enables users to access a variety of information related to the garment, providing a more in-depth understanding of their projects.
