Optim 1.2 released
Theia Interactive has announced the release of Optim 1.2, a toolkit that aims to simplify the use of Unreal Engine 4 by bringing Unreal’s essential functions into and easier to use interface as well as adding features like clustered merging, batch LODs, simplified lightmap settings, and a lightbuild scheduler.
Version 1.2 adds a new template for real-time interaction within existing VR projects, and Improved UI, the aforementioned Lightbuild Scheduler and Clustered Merging, Selection Filters to create precise selection sets in a scene using a variety of parameters, One-Click LODs that allows the user to select any number of meshes in the viewport and apply Smart LODs without scrolling through menus or extra windows and more.
Optim is available in three versions: Starter at $12 a month/$108 a year, Pro for $90 a month/$900 a year, and Enterprise which is priced on request. The Starter license includes the Optim Toolkit whereas the Pro and Enterprise versions also include the toolkit and the VR Collaboration Template. The Enterprise version also includes an importer for setting up automated data pipelines.
