Qube! 7.0 released

PipelineFX has announced the latest version of Qube!, its render farm management software aimed at the VFX industry. Version 7.0 introduces changes to the core of the software, including a new Postgres database that promises faster responsivity and less cumbersome table creation.

More visible to the end user is a new UI codebase that will power a single unified interface including WranglerView and ArtistView with benefits such as more flexible UI layouts and an in-UI command prompt.

Support is improved by adding compatibility with OS X 10.13 and newly integrated job submission for Unreal Sequencer and Keyshot, Nuke Frame Server, NukeStudio, Maya 2018, 3DS Max 2018 and After Effects CC 2018.

Also new in this version is the ability for Qube! client and trial users to request a free Supervisor license. Only Worker licenses will attract a charge from now on at a cost of $100 per year. A 60% discount is available until 31 July 2018 and a 30 day unlimited trial is available driven using metered licensing.
