TalanSoft has released an update to Valkyrie Engine, its tool for creating real-time applications aimed squarely at artists.
The update for windows includes actionable templates available directly from the Valkyrie launcher including AR, Architecture, and Graphical User interface, the addition of tooltips to the editor without the need to hold down Ctrl, new Decal & Post processing entities, a new PlaneGround primitive, and an improved shader cache system. Also of note is the release of 4 new tutorials to help users get started with the engine, as well as new sample projects and a personalised service called Asgard that offers business users who want to publish their creations to the iOS App Store in under 48h. The website has also been updated with use cases for using Valkyrie in different industries.
