Dave Baker has recompiled around 150 free plugins including the BlurBeta plugins, Peter Watje’s plugins, and more for 3DS Max 2017. Dave has graciously done this on his own time so feel free to visit Maxplugins.de and donate to help support this great resource.

Since iam moving for maya after 20 years of using max, iam looking for sites similar to maxplugins.de and scriptspot, but for MAYA, anyone can help? Basicly iam loking for one site with all MEL scripts, and one with all plugin list and news. Thanks.

You generally find lots of good stuff here: https://www.creativecrash.com/maya/

Some paid, some free.

So how come max plugins is not one startup screen of max but scriptspot is!?

Big kudos to David!

Thanks everyone for the kind words!
I haven’t finished yet, hopefully I’ll be able to do the rest of the plugins soon…

Makes one wonder why Autodesk hasn’t invested yet in supporting Maxplugins by placing a banner on the site or something along those lines. If Dave decided to pull the plug and remove the site, it would be a complete mess for Max users. And he’s certainly not replaceable, not even by hiring 3 people to do his work.

The same goes for ScriptSpot, by the way.
