Craig: George Maestri has been doing software reviews in the industry for quite a while — I read the review and I think he backs up his claim that it’s “significant”…. maybe it’s not the type of review you’re looking for, it’s pretty high level, a “here’s what’s new/included” review, but it’s not a press-release and it’s unfair to George to say it is.
We started using reviewer’s names on maxunderground because it’s important to get to know your sources. It’s gives you some clue of who is just copy/pasting from press releases (there’s a lot of that), who’s familiar with lots of different packages, and who’s really intimately knowledgable about a specific application.
