Adobe Lightroom May update
Adobe has announced the latest update to Lightroom for iOS, Android and desktop. New features added in the may update include an updated home view that will show most recent photos but also new interactive tutorials that can be completed directly from within the application.
New collaboration features allow users to invite others to view or contribute photos to albums. New tools include Texture which allows you to either accentuate or smooth medium-sized details such as skin, bark, and hair; and Defringe which helps to remove purple or green fringes caused by lens chromatic aberration.
Batch editing has been improved with the ability to copy the settings from one image and paste them to multiple images, and Flat-Field correction which was previously available as a plugin is now included in Lightroom classic. This plugin helps correct for sensor and lens characteristics that can result in asymmetrical colour casts.

Isn’t it fantastic that this company recently sent out e-mails warning their users that using older versions of their CC apps wasn’t allowed? Although people have paid for them and continue to pay.
Good times when lawyers take over the world. I just love it. I love Adobe, I love Autodesk.
Let’s hope they won’t prohibit irony.
So… what are the new features making me want to pay them? Sharing photos? How fantastic!

This is the problem of big companies. they stuck at some point with creative losses. Because they can’t bypass all bureaucracy and focus on truly new features. It’s a pity see the giants dying with their own mistakes.
