“People today experience more depression than previous generations, despite the technological wonders that help us every day. It might be because of them.” New Scientist has published an interesting article that takes a look at some of the pressures brought by lifestyles that are increasingly driven by technology and the Net, and how this is affecting social relationships (consider what that means for the omnipresent words “community” and “social networks”). It also offers some healthy advice on regaining mastery over technology and learning to use it in a positive way. More at New Scientist.
