Adobe updates Creative Cloud with improvements to its video, audio and animation tools
Adobe has announced updates to Creative Cloud. Headline features include a new Content-Aware Fill tool for After Effects, powered by Adobe’s machine learning system Sensei, that promises to be able to automatically fills a selected space throughout the duration of a clip. Premiere gains new tools to organise and storyboard media in the Freeform Project panel, in addition to rulers and guides to help with title design. Users creating audio productions gain Punch and Roll in Audition for correcting long form recordings, while both Audition and Premiere Pro have new tools to generate audio mixes with Auto Ducking for ambience. Finally, Character Animator gains improved puppet rigging.

OK, I honestly thought the content aware thing was an April Fools joke and yet it’s real 🙂
It seems to look a little funky with the stuff on the right side by the bushes, as the camera moves the content aware stuff just slides along instead of changing as well. Better than nothing, but a little distracting on its own. Maybe it could have been tweaked more? Or just too much camera movement?
