BioGraphic Technologies announced the release of version 2.1 of the AI.implant crowd simulation family of products. The new version provides support for 3ds max 6 along with a few new features and enhancements.
New features included in this release:
– 3D Navigation Meshes: Navigation with a navMesh is no longer restricted to a single flat plane but will work over any surface
– AI.explorer now has right-click context menus that can be used for the creation and management of Decision Trees and Animation nodes.
– The visualization interface-a mechanism for rendering AI primitives for debugging or rapid prototyping–has been completely rewritten; the performance of AI Visualization has been generally improved, resulting in a greater frame rate during playback.
– 64-bit Floating-Point Precision is now supported in the SDK (doubles as well as floats).
