New features in ARRI’s OpenFX plugin for recreating the look of analog film include:
- Support for 8 mm, 16 mm, 35 mm, or 65 mm film formats (in addition to 35 mm)
- Expanded control over grain, perceived sharpness and anamorphic character
- New Halation Spread control provides further adjustment of the radius and character of the glow around highlights and high-contrast edges.
- 4x faster processing with smooth real-time 4K playback on more devices
- ACES 2.0 ACEScc and ACEScct input and output options for color-managed workflows
ARRI Film Lab 1.5 is compatible with applications that support OpenFX, including DaVinci Resolve, Autograph, Nuke and Fusion.
