IngeTrazo is an open source alternative to SketchUp that’s quickly gaining attention. Development is advancing fast, recently adding the ability for users to contribute their own extensions (such as a ComfyUI Viewport Renderer) to expand its functionality.
IngeTrazo offers an intuitive UI, Blender integration and runs natively on Linux, as well as Windows and Mac. It guarantees watertight solids and brings an optional BIM layer, in development. It composes sheets at scale into PDF, brings in real terrain (satellite, elevation, drone, GPS points) and connects to AI assistants that draw with the same engine.
The software is developed by Peruvian Civil Engineer and Linux enthusiast Marco Sumari Tellez. Check out IngeTrazo’s site for more.
