FXGuide has published an interesting article that looks in depth at a technique being developed by Pinscreen in which a CG face, driven by live motion capture, is overlayed in real-time by an inferred synthetic face that dramatically improves realism. Autodesk has announced the release of Flame 2021.1. This release includes enhancements Explorer and other tools to speed up workflows, colour refinements in the Effects tab, new Compare functionalities, media format enhancements for Sony Raw and XOCN, as well as new supported formats, such as Avid Uncompressed.
