Markus Boos has launched a campaign through Indiegogo to cover the cost of updating and recompiling his useful camera projection map modifier for 3DS Max 2015. CameraMapGemini offers various features over 3DS Max's default tools, including managing up to 10 projections within one modifier, custom projection resolution and aspect ratio, CameraMapGeminiMap for per-pixel rendering (there's no longer need to subdivide the mesh before the projection), etc. More information available on Indiegogo.

The developer of the Sandy granular solver plugin has made available a video showing his latest development, a solver dedicated to simulating realistic bubbles in water. The O2 solver is being developed as a RealFlow plugin and according to the author is multi-threaded, fast and needs few parameters. Watch the teaser video on Vimeo.
