Fabric Software announced that it’s working with The Foundry and Maxon to integrate the Fabric Engine development framework with Modo and Cinema 4D. Tools developed with Fabric Software’s platform for creating high-performance cross-platform tools for applications such as 3DS Max, Maya and Softimage, will now work with Modo, and in the future with Cinema 4D, too.
The first public demonstrations of Fabric Engine for Modo will take place at FMX2015 this week, and the software is expected to be available for public download around SIGGRAPH (August). Also of note, the company has disclosed that they’re experimenting with integrating Fabric Engine with Epic Games’ Unreal Engine. More on Fabric Software’s blog.
