Nevercenter has released Silo 2026.0, introducing a new Blender Bridge that connects Silo’s modeling workflow directly to Blender. The bridge operates from the Blender side and allows users to send selected objects from a Blender scene to Silo for editing. Each time a file is saved in Silo, the changes appear in Blender, allowing both applications to share the same updated geometry. Users can begin with existing Blender objects or create new models in Silo and transfer them back by saving.
The current implementation exchanges data through a temporary FBX file that both applications can read. The developers note that this method may present limitations, and future updates may consider a more direct communication link depending on user feedback.
