Cascadeur has released the 2025.3 update for its AI-powered animation software. The new version integrates a redesigned Inbetweening system into the Timeline Interpolation workflow, enabling animators to use Inbetweening and standard interpolation on individual animation tracks and adjust style settings directly through the Timeline context menu.
The update adds early Quadruped support for AutoPosing and the Quick Rigging Tool, extending the software’s capabilities to four-legged character setups. Rigging changes include new Twist and Untwist bone options intended for more advanced character configurations.
Physics and core features receive several technical updates, including refinements to AutoPhysics interactions, angle limits for ragdoll setups, performance gains on long animations, expanded GLB handling, revised camera parameter controls and new Linked Scene options.
Cascadeur 2025.3 is accompanied by an experimental Windows-only build featuring a first implementation of Filament Renderer in the viewport, offering updated lighting, shadowing, ambient occlusion and material-based rendering. Full integration of this renderer is planned for the 2026.1 release.
