Itoo Software has released updates for RailClone and Forest Pack. RailClone 2.7.4 includes useful enhancements to make it easier and more flexible when you want to update multiple objects from a master style. Forest Pack brings an improved Forest Effect to scatter items on displaced surfaces. The process is simplified and surfaces can now be any shape before being displaced. VRto.me is a new site by Stanley Brusse designed to quickly convert cubemaps into panorama tours. It allows you to add hotspots, get links to your projects and easily share your VR work with your clients by creating VR tours in a few clicks, which can be viewed with VR headsets or web browser. Quixel keeps expanding its online scan repository of surfaces, vegetation and 3D models. Since its official release less than two months ago, the company has been adding scans of Nordic foliage, volcanic assets, tropical plants, etc. The Megascans Studio tool has also been updated and offers the ability to tweak the scale and amount of repetitions per material layer, improved asset loading and saving, and performance boosts.
