A astonishing work…
Totalely wasted by a f.. overshakycam !
(the action his often barely unreadable.)
But the post slomotion is a good realistic idea.

It’s one thing to achieve amazing hyper realistic imagery(btw, Vray?), it’s another to make it look so epic and intense, you made my day Blur, thanks.

Someone stabilized the video on Youtube, you can see so much more detail. It’s exceptional. I’m not into these kinds of games or even this kind of theme/universe, but I really enjoyed watching it a few times. Great blocking, pacing, the lighting is awesome. I so wish they would release some behind-the-scenes production details, I think they did for the last one regarding comp. But I would wager they’re using Softimage for rig/animation, Max for everything else and Vray, Fumefx, Krakatoa, etc.

There’s a trend, that I guess started after the second Bourne film, about this damn shaking cameras. Funny thing is, even thought I like all Bourne films, the first on for me, in the technical term, it’s still the best.

It’s classic filmmaking style of shooting and framing and you can see the action happening and it has some nice framing.

Anyway … Blur as always, a solid and amazing work.

No sim time involved there 😛

Geesuz at 8:00+ minutes of mini movie, a couple of soft smoke sims, considering the scale I am surprised that they didn’t cheat it more.

The once over I noticed some sick smoke/particles @ 3:30~ and nice smoke boiling at 5:30~ both of those really caught my eye 😉

Great work as usual, never disappoints! 🙂
