V-Ray now officially available for Blender
Chaos has made V-Ray available as a fully integrated renderer for Blender, marking its re-entry into the open-source 3D software. This release gives Blender users access V-Ray’s rendering capabilities directly within their existing workflows, without relying on third-party bridges or exports.
The integration supports both CPU and GPU rendering, along with hybrid modes, and includes tools such as the V-Ray Frame Buffer with Light Mix, compositing, and post-processing options. Blender users now have access to features like Chaos Cosmos for asset management, Chaos Cloud for remote rendering and collaboration, and built-in support for global illumination, physical cameras, and adaptive lighting.
V-Ray for Blender is designed to work with both photorealistic and stylized outputs, and supports complex scenes and large-scale production needs. It is available through standalone Blender-only subscriptions or included with existing V-Ray licenses.
