Image-based colored smoke

FX artist Kei Yoneoka has posted a quick tip on using ThinkingParticles and FumeFX for emitting smoke with color defined by a texture map for increased realism. Watch the video on Vimeo.

    Yes it works without TP.

    Just add proper mapping to your object sources or simple sources.
