Clothify Pro for 3ds Max

Clothify Pro for 3ds Max

Marius Silaghi has released Clothify Pro, a new plugin for 3ds Max that is designed to simplify the process of modelling and animating cloth. Unlike many other solutions, Clothify Pro’s simulations times are negligible for fast feedback, and as a modifier, it’s also completely non-destructive.  The effects can be controlled using soft selection, vertex weights or vertex colours, and any deformation applied underneath the modifier affects the cloth so you can make use of the many modifiers max provides, like Edit Poly, Skin, FFD, Bend, Affect Region, Path Deform etc. It can also be used with the Freeform brushes. Using this approach users are able to use familiar tools to create believable wrinkles. Find out more on Marius Silaghi’s website.

Of all the amazing plugins that Marius released lately, this one just blows me away. It looks so effortless and extremely useful as a modifier. Non-destructive, interactive, fast, simple and powerful. I don’t recall seeing this particular type of workflow in any other software. I am really exited tot try this out at some point. Congrats and all you have made this year.
