The official network of animation and VFX schools from France is organizing a conference to evaluate the current state of the animation industry’s crisis and seek to help new graduates find jobs. The conference will feature a series of roundtable discussions:
- A discussion of experiences, featuring testimonials from recent graduates
- RECA schools in the face of industry changes: how can we prevent a generational gap in the animation industry?
- The studios’ perspective: how can we maintain the connection between new talent and companies?
The panels will be preceded by an overview of employment opportunities for newcomers with recent data showing the current situation. The conference will take place October 8 starting at 2pm at the École Estienne in Paris. More information on RECA’s site. (French)
