Fabric Software has released v2 of its platform for building high-performance graphics applications that can be run across different 3D software. The new version introduces Canvas, a visual programming system.
Fabric Software will also be releasing betas of Fabric for Modo, 3DS Max and Houdini in the next months. Development of Fabric for PRMan, Arnold and Unreal 4 is under way. Plus the company intends to develop Fabric for VR and AR content creation.
A Fabric Fifty starter pack is available that provides 50 licenses of Fabric to studios for free, in order to speed up adoption of the software. Paid licenses are also available that offer additional features such as direct email support, code obfuscation, unlimited render nodes, etc. Find out more on Fabric Software’s website.
