Vray has huge advantage over FR – you can buy a perpetual licence.
Just hope it continues like that.

FR has a huge advantage over Vray, for the price of another rental license you get UNLIMITED farm machines.

Vray Is great but it still is very annoying that its SSS is lagging behind, It’s got a very very slow Alshader, an outdated native fast sss, and a grand issue with two SSS objects intersecting creating dark lines instead of blending nicely.
FR seems to be pushing for a nice SSS here.
