New features in Thunder Cloud Studio’s Maya script for easily modeling complex hair using traditional poly modeling tools and converting it to Maya Hair include:
- Improved polygon hair generation
- Override settings per GMH Hair surfaces
- Baking hair to polygon plane’s textures (diffuse, normal and alpha maps)
- Material & UV manager apply different shader texture regions to multi-polygon hair poly surfaces and groups
- Export curves or poly meshes of hair system to OBJ or FBX formats
