Take a look at this beautiful short film by Yannick Puig, created with Max and Flash. It’s a pleasure to see animated films exploring more basic and essential aspects of life. Definitely worth checking out, both his film as well as his personal website.
Krapooyo is the story of how a young fruit discovers life.
The first concept work for Krapooyo started in 2002. Yannick was forced to work on the film in his free time since he has a full time job in the games industry. The 3D animation for the film was created with Charater Studio and the movie itself was edited with Premiere. As one can deduce from Yannick’s film as well as from his website, he is not only interested in 3D animation but in creating 2D animation, too. The music for Krapooyo was composed by two friends of Yannick’s.
