Light Engine has announced the release of Light Tracer Render 2.o, the latest version of its standalone and web based GPU renderer. New features include a new caustic mode/path guiding technique that improves rendering speed with rendering complex lighting, a new transparent shadows technique that improves speed in situations when light is coming through glass windows or translucent surfaces, support for lighting with mesh emitters and IES profiles, a reworked coating model, new built-in modelling tools, revised texture and camera slots, improved performance, and more.
