Im not seeing anything out of the ordinary here. Reminds me of a simpler, less refined version of blender.
Arrays, deformation cages, moving polygons around etc… was all big news about 15years ago.
Come on lightwave… innovate.
Blender IS the new LightWave. Back before I was using LW on Star Trek: Voyager, Babylon 5, and Space: Above and Beyond, all the Alias and Wavefront and SGI guys in general said LightWave wasn’t a professional tool. Then we started winning Emmys.
We can see that clearly from here. Blender is gaining momentum and its open source backing gives it phenomenal support from its user base and a growing set of add-ons and tools. Blender has a very bright future ahead.
The fact that they still have the modeler\layout split is mind blowing to me..
As it was to me when I was a beta tester in 1998!
