New features in Act-3D’s real-time architectural visualization software include: more realistic rendering due to improvements to materials, reflections, shadows and lighting, realistic rendering of glass (transparent, translucent or frosted), physically-based materials now more accurately simulate natural roughness present on surfaces, improved interoperability with other 3D CAD software (Intelligent Importing checks and fixes certain kinds of common errors in 3D models, faster and more reliable importing of .DWG files, support for .FBX 16 files, etc.), enhanced DOF, Autumn Generator effect, improved sky realism, turn animated 3D people into silhouettes, expanded object library (animated people, new plants and trees), etc.
