Foundry has announced the release of Nuke 14 with a new beta 3D system based on USD, over 40 nodes and new workflows, alongside updates to UnrealReader, login-based licensing, and the Cattery. Find out more on the Foundry website.
And a new price with 50 percent price cut for all nuke, nuke x, and nuke studio. ( Still expensive )
From what I see on their website it’s not the case, price is the same
He was just expressing what he would like to see. But he’s right, even at half the price it’s insanely overpriced, I’ve yet to meet a nuke artist who didn’t complain about it. Fusion may be a bit off in terms of features but still, 250 vs 10.000 bucks… ridiculous. But I think they’re feeling it already or the “indie” license never would’ve happened.
Ah ok, makes senses! Yes totally, at least now there is an indie version with its limitation..
I’d really like to see Natron get more support with development and finances. They just released version 2.5
