Sitni Sati has published more information on its upcoming natural scenery plugin. DreamScape will include the ability to generate atmospheric effects (Daylight, Sky, Clouds, Rainbow), SubSurface atmospherics (realistic underwater scenery) and Sunlight (rayrace shadows, area shadows). A Terrain texture map is also provided that will let users apply different texmaps based on elevation and/or slope. Read on for more.
DreamScape also comes with a SeaSurface object (optimized mesh, advanced waves generator, foam generator, support for DS Daemons) and a Sea Material (reflect, refract, glittering), among other features. DreamScape is available for pre-ordering at a special introductory price and is scheduled for a January 2002 release with a SRP of $495.
