today announced that it has halved the price of its legendary 3-D character
animation and effects software, SOFTIMAGE®|3D, to $1,495
USMSRP. This action is in response to the increasing demand for animation and
effects content for use in areas such as graphic and architectural design,
manufacturing, government/military, scientific/medical, and the location based
entertainment market. This move will also benefit the growing number of
multi-media professionals and those just entering the market who are looking for
a comprehensive 3-D package at a lower price.
