Procreate Dreams announced

Scheduled for release on November 22, Procreate Dreams is a new animation app that aims to offer a range of tools for creating hand-drawn animations, motion graphics, and more. The app is designed to be accessible to a wide audience, including those who may not have prior experience in animation.

The drawing experience in Procreate Dreams allows for the use of Procreate brushes and offers increased resolution. A timeline feature is included to assist in the animation process, and it can be minimised to provide more drawing space. The app also includes a multi-touch timeline designed to facilitate the animation process with fluid gestures.

In addition to animation features, the app provides options for editing video and adding sound. It supports high-resolution video, including 4K ProRes footage. The app also allows for the creation of large sets within a single project and offers features like zoom, pan, and rotate to focus on details.

Procreate Dreams also includes real-time rendering, keyframes, and Onion Skins, among other features. It supports a new file format that is designed for iCloud synchronisation and backups. The app also has features for automatic saving and a saved undo history, allowing for experimentation without the risk of losing work.

The app is designed to work well with the iPad and Apple Pencil, aiming to offer a responsive painting experience and timeline editing. It will be available for a one-time purchase price of $19.99 USD starting November 22.
